Background
After having obtained a Bachelor’s degree in commercial and industrial sciences (specialization in Marketing) a the University of Geneva, Pierre Brunschwig started his career in the retail sector in Paris and Germany.
He then worked for 2 years in the financial industry. End 1981, he joined the family company Brunschwig & Cie SA (Bongenie-Grieder) where he pursues his professional career.
He is one of three associates in charge of the general management of Brunschwig Group since 1987.
The group is active in the retail sector in Switzerland, they further hold stakes in real estate, optics, insurance and digital fields.
Pierre is a member of several Boards of Directors, and additionally also had mandates in the financial and tourism sectors during his career.
Father of two children, he practices horse riding (show jumping) in competition at a high level.
